| The bike was originally a 1970 FLH. It had 1 owner before me and when I ran across the bike some 8 years ago it was in pieces on the guy’s garage floor. He had decided to take the thing apart and go over it but as all good plans sounds good things got a little over whelming and he decided to sell it. I loaded all the parts and some extras into my truck and headed to the best bike mechanic I knew and 8 months later we were on the road and having a good time. In 2007 I decided that some changes were needed and I set off to rebuild the bike once more. The motor was gone through and all the gaskets and such were replaced. I think this is the only shovel I know of that doesn't leak oil. It's a good ride. Fun to be on and I always get compliments If you want or need to know more my mechanic is more then willing to speak with you. Bike is titled as a 2009 Custom Frame is a 2001 Santee soft tail Motor is 1970 shovel head 1200cc Less than 100 miles since rebuild Transmission is HD 4 speed (original for the motor) 2 new matching Scorpion tires : 21” front & 150/80-16 rear Paughco Axe 3 gal. gas tank Drag bars (very clean look with no speedo) 2 inch straight pipes (very loud & sound great) S&S carb Side mount license plate and brake light Frame, barrel oil tank, and both rims and hubs are powder coated (shiny black) Gas tank and fenders have a textured black powder coating (very cool) Hidden start button so no key needed See video and more pictures at www.Mork.us/motorcycle |
